The Night Desk EP-001: four AI claims, four rulings, every receipt shown

The Night Desk is the nightly whole-issue recap: the day's loudest AI claims read back with the receipts attached, stamped with the same four rulings the site uses. EP-001 covers four checks from Issue 21: Oracle's '21,000 AI layoffs' (the number appears zero times in the filing, reporters produced it by subtracting two headcounts), OpenAI's Astra crossing the 'Critical' cyber threshold (real threshold, but the danger arrived pre-handled: caught internally, paused about a month, patched, access gated), New York's 'AI ban' in schools (a one-year moratorium with five vetted pilot programs still running, and no stated enforcement), and Anthropic's '$65 billion revenue' (a run rate, one strong month multiplied out, up from $9 billion in December). Every line in the episode traces to one of those four adjudicated claim pages. Two claims were softened before release because the script overstated a real fact, and both fixes are logged in the production factcheck.
